Knorr Taste Quest Winner Emerges On Sunday

 
This Sunday, April 7, will see the top three finalists of the Knorr Taste Quest battle to see who will emerge as the winner of the competition. The last episode saw Gregory Owie evicted, leaving ifeyinwa Mogekwu, Lalu Surdiham and Patricia Allison as the top three contestants on the show. continue after the cut...

For the semi final task, the contestants were given a range of vegetarian and meat ingredients which included; Shaki, Bran flakes, Digestive biscuits, Chicken sausage, Vegetarian sausage, Ugwu, and Broccoli to make 8 taster meals or appetizers.
  
After 1 hour 30 minutess of cooking time all the judges unanimously praised Patricia's meal as she took them on a journey to experience taster meals from different continents. Gregory's meal on the other hand was declared unexciting and disappointing, while Ifeyinwa and Lalu's meals got lukewarm reviews. Gregory was hence evicted by the judges.   

The fates of the top three contestants are in the hands of the judges. All three are very strong contenders and it’s hard to predict who will clinch the top prize.
Apart from the Star Prize of a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and One million naira, the second position goes away with a whopping One million naira, while the third position will go home with Five hundred thousand naira. Kitchen equipments worth N 300,000 will also be given to the last three contestants.  Be sure to catch the grand finale on Sunday on these stations at the following times: ONTV- 6.30-7.30PM, Galaxy TV- 8.00pm-9.00pm, Startimes(CH 123)- 8.00pm-9.00pm, Silverbird TV- 8.00pm-9.00pm, AIT- 9.00pm-10.00pm.   1. Sad that Knorr had to succumb to the erroneous belief that everything "foreign" is better than our own indigenous products.

    This singular "goof" may give them credibility issues in future.

    Meanwhile, they should look into their choice of judges. Haba that Chef Richards is enough to give someone hypertension. When they are not in a military camp.
