This Sunday, April 7, will see the top three
finalists of the Knorr Taste Quest battle to see who will emerge as the winner
of the competition. The last episode saw Gregory Owie evicted, leaving
ifeyinwa Mogekwu, Lalu Surdiham and Patricia Allison as the top three
contestants on the show. continue after the cut...
For the semi final task, the contestants were given
a range of vegetarian and meat ingredients which included; Shaki, Bran flakes, Digestive
biscuits, Chicken sausage, Vegetarian sausage, Ugwu, and Broccoli to make
8 taster meals or appetizers.
After 1 hour 30 minutess of cooking time all the
judges unanimously praised Patricia's meal as she took them on a journey to
experience taster meals from different continents. Gregory's meal on the other
hand was declared unexciting and disappointing, while Ifeyinwa and Lalu's meals
got lukewarm reviews. Gregory was hence evicted by the judges.
Sad that Knorr had to succumb to the erroneous belief that everything "foreign" is better than our own indigenous products.
