Talk about extravagance. What on earth would a seven-year-old doing with a private jet?
In his latest bizarre act of fatherhood and extreme celebrity, Tom Cruise has indeed dropped $7 million on a Cessna Citation private plane for daughter Suri's seventh birthday.
"Money is no object to Tom when it comes to Suri. He'll do anything to be with her. It might sound extravagant but Suri is used to flying around in private jets. That's what happens when your parents are Hollywood stars," a source told The Sun.
In a weird way, it does make a bit of sense considering Suri lives with her mother Katie Holmes in New York, a whole 4000km away from Tom in Los Angeles.
Is it actually a sign of good parenting that the 50-year-old divorced dad is going to extreme lengths to maintain regular contact with his daughter?
