The response has been quite something else for Entrepreneurs. I didn't realize that so many people desire guidance. The truth is, it's not a journey school can adequately prepare one for. Non business teachers teaching business, analyzing business plans that were never needed by the businesses that operated with them. I'm happy that you are finding the comfort from things I learned the hard way.

11. Barter! If you don't have money, don't lack sense. If a fool and his money soon get parted, then logically a wise man should soon be reconnected to his stash of cash. The origin of money is barter, always think, "what, apart from money can I exchange for this?". A courier company batters newspaper delivery for regular adverts about their service. An event centre offers free events to crowd-pullers. Find a back you can scratch in exchange for yours. Money is not everything!

12. Collabo! In a bid to become independent, many of us stay solo, not realizing that interdependence is the highest form of maturity. You are better off teaming up. Two good heads are better than one, only please ensure that both heads are good. Once one of the heads is not good, collaboration will be unequally yoked and frustrating. Learn to work with and leverage on others, one tree does not make a forest!

13. Learn Selling! Before you resigned you might have been a consultant, HR Director, Head of Financial Planning, Logistics and supply chain manager etc. Forget about those titles. Your new role is Chief Marketing Officer at best. Business is not so much about being the best technical person or the most intelligent consultant, it's about being able to close the deals and execute the closed deals. Invest in learning how to sell, learn also by doing. Also search for #Selling
