MEET tiny terrier Meysi — who is set to be crowned the world’s smallest dog.
She is fully-grown at just 2.75 inches tall and 4.7in long. She weighs half a pound — just a bit more than a HAMSTER.Meysi was so small at birth that owner Anna Pohl initially mistook her for a piece of placenta.
She only realised her mistake seconds before throwing Meysi in the bin.
Pet beauty salon worker Anna fed Meysi with a syringe at all hours to keep her alive.
Three months on, Meysi is fit and strong.
Anna, 35, of Jarocin, Poland, said: “She has a typical terrier’s character and is brave.”
But Guinness World Records can only crown her World’s Smallest Dog once she is a year old.
Current holder is 4in tall Chihuahua Boo Hoo, from Kentucky, USA.
Pretty little thing
