SELENA Gomez is a vision in white as she walks the red carpet for the first time since her split from Justin Bieber.
The 20-year-old actress looked stunning in a white peplum pencil dress complete with plunging sheer neckline.She wore her hair styled in a glamorous up-do and smiled as she posed for pictures at the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Awards in New York on Monday night.
Selena even managed to pick up an award on the night, giving her difficult week a turn for the better.
She said: “Thank-you so much. I am so honoured to be in a room full of women that I can only aspire to be as good as they are one day.
''I feel so lucky that every day I get to work with interesting people that are way smarter than me, and have taught me so much, like Ethan.
''I just want to share to all the girls out there that you have a voice, you have a chance to do what you love, whether that is acting or singing. And just being true to who you are.''
The pair were thought to have had a rendezvous at a New York hotel on Sunday after news of the separation broke.
A source revealed to Life and Style magazine: "I saw Selena go into the hotel around 5.40pm on Sunday (local time) and not even three hours later, Justin went in. I saw him leave around 11pm."
One pal told The Sun: "It's been so difficult to watch this unfold over the past year or so. Selena has shed so many tears over Justin.
"She's tried to split up with him so many times but they have always ended up back together.
"It's out in the open now and that is one of the toughest parts, so that means there's more chance it will be permanent this time. But we expect Justin to try to win her back - and he tends to get what he wants."
