Africa’s
hottest music channel is pulling out all the stops to give viewers the
most awesome viewing experience when the 9th Annual Channel O Music
Video Awards, brought to you by DStv and DStv Mobile, is screened LIVE
on Saturday 17 November.
With voting now closed and the 9th
Annual Channel O Music Video Awards winners being tallied, it will be
the moment of truth for the nominees in the 14 categories when the show
goes live at 20:00 CAT. Will Kenya’s hip hop group Camp Mulla live up to
the expectations created by being a leading nominee? Or will South
Africa’s Khuli Chana dominate proceedings in 2012? With the cream of the
crop in the running this year, only one thing’s for sure at this stage:
the best and most original music from across the African continent will
be celebrated this Saturday!
Nigerian superstar Ice Prince and South
Africa’s It Girl, Bonang Matheba, are the hosts with the sass and skills
to take it to the next level when the 9th Annual Channel O Music Awards
ceremony gets underway at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, Soweto,
South Africa.
Adding huge impact to an already star-packed awards event are the live performers – including Nigeria’s Ice Prince, Davido and Mo’Cheddah, Botswana rapper Zeus, Kenya’s Camp Mulla, Ghana’s M.anifest, and South Africans, Khuli Chana, Mi Casa, DJ Zinhle, Thebe and many more! Making a special appearance is this year’s Special Recognition recipient, Oskido as well as the Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir.
Spend your Saturday evening with the best music and biggest stars Africa has to offer, so don’t miss out!
