The weather in New York City may be cold, but Alicia Keys' Nov. 27 record-release bash was anything but.
The "Brand New Me" singer, 31, lived up to the title of her latest album, Girl on Fire, as she danced the night away at a star-studded party held in her honor Tuesday night.
Fresh from her intimate performance at an iHeartRadio concert for Hurricane Sandy first responders, Keys hit up NYC hot spot The Box, where she was joined by her husband, record producer Swizz Beats; her mom, Teresa Augello; and pals including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake with new wife Jessica Biel, Maxwell, designer Tommy Hilfiger, and BFF Erika Rose.
The star "looked amazing" in tight black leather
At one point during the party -- which was co-hosted by Ciroc vodka and Qui tequila, and featured entertainment by DJ Cassidy and DJ Runna, among others -- Beyonce left the booth where she was sitting with Jay-Z and joined Keys on the dance floor, as Swizz Beats got on the mic with DJ Cassidy.
"They played a lot of old-school hits and songs from the album," the source told Us. "Everyone danced and celebrated."
I sense so much fun
