Omawumi, Flavour And Waje 'Don Port To' The Telecoms Giant Globacom. Now Ambassadors

Omawumi-Flavour-Waje
Last month, it was alleged that Tiwa Savage, Lynxxx, Omawumi, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, MI, Bez, Naeto C, Chidynma, and Lagbaja were all going to join the Telecommunications giant as GLO ambassadors, commencing a brand overhaul as it drops a lot of its Nollywood ambassadors in return.
So far, Lagbaja has been confirmed and so also has Burna Boy But now, three more names have officially been added to the bill – Omawumi, Waje & Flavour.

For more from the campaign, click Omawumi,  Waje or Flavour to see their new GLO posters.
Also, according to the NETNG, Lynxxx and Bez are also confirmed new GLO ambassadors which will bring the number up to seven. Do you think GLO focusing on the music industry will get them better results than Nollywood did? And, do you think these new brand ambassadors are too many?

NCC Lifts Ban On Promotions By Airtel, Globacom And Etisalat

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has lifted its ban on promotions by Airtel, Globacom and Etisalat. NCC Director of Public Affairs Tony Ojobo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the ban was lifted because the three service providers met the regulatory body's December 2012 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Ojobo said that the ban placed on promotions by MTN is still in force until the KPIs are met.
NAN recalled that the NCC imposed the ban on 12 November 2012. Ojobo then said that the ban was introduced because NCC was inundated with complaints from consumers and stakeholders about the various promotions offered by the operators.
