Photos: Chinua Achebe's Body Arrives Nigeria

Prof. Chinua Achebe's body has arrived Nigeria yesterday May 21. First, they landed in Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport Abuja, where it was received by government officials. Afterwards, his body was flown to Enugu aboard a private plane to his hometown, Ogidi, Anambra state, where it was received by Achebe's elder brother, Chief Augustine Achebe, other family members and state govt officials.
