The highly anticipated 63rd edition of the Miss World beauty pageant is slated to take place on 28th September, 2013, at the Sentul International Convention Center in Indonesia.
The last time Ghana competed for the
pageant was in 2011 and they are slated to have their Miss Ghana 2013
this July. So, as the auditions commence for the pageant today, 30th May

Naa Okailey Shooter will be representing Ghana at the Miss World 2013 beauty pageant. In an interview with Myjoyonline.com, she expressed her confidence that she would win:
‘I believe that this is the year for Africa and specifically this is the year for Ghana. When I stand on the stage, I am not standing there as Naa Okailey. I’m standing there because I am representing my country, Ghana and I don’t want to just make myself and my family proud, I want to make Ghana and Africa as a whole proud,’
The aspiring medical doctor added;
