The ace Pidgin Wazobia FM OAP Akatakpo Anthony A.K.A Diplomatic Akasbaba who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen from his residence on Thursday March 13th was released and reunited with his family in the early hours of this morning March 20th exactly one week after he was  kidnapped. Akasbaba was shot and he is now receiving treatment.

Kanye West Sentenced To 2 Years Probation, 250 Hours Community Service

Kanye West has been sentenced to 2years probation and 250 hours community service after the attack on a photographer at Los Angeles Airport in 2013, E! News reports.

Kanye pled no contest to one count of misdemeanor battery yesterday in response to videographer Daniel Ramos lawsuit against him. Kanye attacked Ramos at LAX airport in August last year as the paparazzi tried to take photos of him

Minus the two year probation and community service, Kanye is also required to complete 24 sessions of a level-2 anger management program and he must turn himself in to the LAPD for a formal booking. Kanye agreed to all this to make the case disappear from his record.

Enugu Govt House Attack: Biafra Group Reveals Their Next Plan

Enugu Government House was recently attacked by gunmen and Biafra Zionist Federation (BZF) claimed responsibility for the attack.

In a recent telephone interview with reporters, the Leader of the group, Onwuka is threatening to stage another attack  and this time with a well armed team, adding that it will be extended to Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Missing Malaysian Plane Flew Another 5 Hours After Its Communication System Was Turned Off

U.S investigators believe that the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 communication system were shut off manually and that the plane flew for at least 5 more hours after it dropped off the radar based on analysis of signals sent by the jet's satellite communication link.

Unknown Gunmen Shot & Kidnapped Wazobia FM OAP Akas Baba

Gunmen have shot and kidnapped one of  Wazobia FM Presenters in Port Harcourt, Akas Baba. His wife Candy Akatakpo confirmed the incident saying her husband was attacked at about 2am today at his rumuekini residence in Port Harcourt in the presence of his family. Mrs. Akatakpo said Akas Baba whose real name is Anthony Akatakpo was shot on his leg and whisked away by one of his attackers in a Mistsubuishi Endeavor SUV.

Boko Haram Members Plead For Mercy As Army/Air Force Attack Camp, Retrieve About 700 Vehicles

The Special Forces involved in the ongoing campaign against the Boko Haram insurgents have recorded what security sources have described as one the greatest breakthroughs in the  campaign against terrorists  in the North-East.Special Forces, comprising ground troops and the Air Force fighters, had demobilized one of the strongest fortresses of the Boko Haram sect. 

It was learnt that the soldiers, who carried out the operation, were shocked by the volume of arms and ammunition and hundreds of operational vehicles that they captured at the camp.A source put the number of vehicles captured from the insurgents at 700 while several members of the sect were arrested.

The Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen Chris Olukolade said in an electronic mail on Tuesday that some of the wounded terrorists who were captured near Lake Chad were pleading for mercy and were cooperating with interrogators from the Multi-National Joint Task Force.Olukolade said that some of the insurgents were captured by troops around Dikwa, Cross Kauwa, Kukawa and Alargarmo.
