Actress Chika Ike Officially Divorced

The actress who got married to Tony Eberiri in 2006 filed for divorce two months ago, and it has been granted in a High court in Abuja on Friday July 26th. Chika Ike is officially a single woman now.

PHOTO: Burmese Woman Breastfeeds Tiger Cubs

Two tiger cubs, one male, one female were taken from her mother when she killed the third one in her litter. They are now been chest fed by a wet nurse, Hla Htay, at the Yangon Zoological Gardens in Burma and by breastfed, we mean literally, straight from her mammary glands.

Ms Htay, 40, the partner of an employee at the zoo, told local newspapers this week she felt sorry for the animals and offered her services, at least until the cubs grew teeth.
The two are now being raised on bottled milk as well as Hla Htay’s milk four times a day.

28 Soldiers Arrested In Lagos For Misconduct

28 soldiers wandering the streets were arrested in Lagos on Thursday, July 25, 2013, according to the Military Police.
 According to Maj. Oyegoke Badamosi, spokesman for the 9 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Ikeja Cantonment, the soldiers were arrested by the military police attached to ‘Operation Checkmate’ in order to curb misconduct and unauthorised movement of personnel in the city.

Body Falls From Air France Jet In Niger, Plane Was En Route To Paris From Ouagadougou

Niger’s interior minister says a body fell from an Air France plane as it approached the West African country’s capital, Niamey, and was discovered lifeless in western suburb.
Abdou Labo said a resident was standing just a few meters from where the body landed at around 5 a.m. Thursday. He said police arrived and found “the lifeless body of a black person, lying in blood.”
He also said blood had been spotted on the left wing of the plane.
Labo said the plane was coming from Burkina Faso’s capital, Ouagadougou, and was scheduled to continue to Paris.
Officials were holding the plane in Niamey so crew members and passengers could be interviewed. Investigators in Ouagadougou are also looking into “the conditions in which the passengers boarded.”

SHOCKING: Man Stabbed Over N10

A 24-year-old man, Kunle Oyebanji has been charged before Ejigbo Magistrates’ court in Lagos for allegedly stabbing a retailer, Umoru Musa, over N10 cigarette.

Oyebanji was charged with assault and refusing to pay for a stick of cigarette to Musa who sells provisions at 1, Pipeline Street, Idimu, Lagos.

Narrating what happened, Musa said Oyebanji usually  buys  provisions from him on credit.  But after some months, Musa said he stopped selling to him when he refused to pay his debts and threatened him whenever he asked for his money.

On the fateful day, Musa said the suspect came to his kiosk and demanded for a stick of cigarette  but he refused to sell to him. But instead of leaving, Musa alleged that Oyebanji forcefully picked the cigarette and smoked at the kiosk. Continue....
